Dr. James Nickman, DDS, MS
Dr. James D. Nickman graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1997 and obtained a Masters of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Minnesota in 1999.
Dr. Nickman is a past President of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Nickman is also the President-elect of the Minnesota Dental Association. He is also a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, a fellow in the American College of Dentists, and a fellow in the International College of Dentists. Dr. Nickman is active in the Minneapolis District Dental Society, Minnesota Dental Association, and is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is a past-president of the Minnesota Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and has served on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Nickman is active with St. Odilia’s Catholic Church. Dr. Nickman also contributes back to the community as the Pediatric Lead for the Minnesota Mission of Mercy, Healthy Smiles Healthy Children Foundation Dental Home Day, and volunteers for the annual Give Kids a Smile day.
Dr. Nickman, his wife, Jean, and their 3 children reside in the northern suburbs. Dr. Nickman enjoys spending time with family, the outdoors, and traveling.
